While I was at home, I took a day trip to Adairsville, about 45 minutes outside Atlanta. My grandparents bought and refurbished a farm house there almost 20 years ago and now have their own garden and make their own salsa. Here are a few pictures I took while there on my mom’s Nikon D90.
Ancient tractor named “Henry” (they used to have a red one named “Etta.” Henry+Etta)
Owl to keep away predatory birds that will eat my grandfather’s tomatoes
The gate to the garden keeps the critters out
Tractor engine
My cousin Cooper found an animal bone
Bird houses made from gourds
Weathervane
Cassville Museum
Cass Grocery, Cassville, G.A.
They still have the old gas pumps.
