So in case you didn’t know, I graduated today. More on this to come, since I have zillions of stories and zillions of photos (AND A NEW CANON REBEL XTi), but for now, I will just focus on my graduation party. It was Thursday night and nothing was going according to plan. We arrived at our beach house we rented on HomeAway on Folly Beach, with cars full of suitcases and groceries ready to start cooking. Too bad neither of the ovens worked and the air conditioning upstairs eventually went out. Luckily, many of the food items were grillable/microwavable. One item that wasn’t of course was my strawberry tart. Oh well.

The menu went as follows, with lots and lots of help from my mom:
• Hashbrown casserole (because what is a Eubanks event without it)
• D’Alessandro’s wings
• fabulous sliders (pictured below)
• carrots and ranch
• cookies from Sugar Bakeshop
• Mom’s famous spicy chicken salad, which is probably a Southern Living recipe
• various drinks, including the Firefly sweet tea lemonade vodka I am officially in love with
I bought these minibottles and we went through them so fast I had to buy another bottle.

It was so good to see my friends that I have known for so long.

So the next night, we went a lot more low-key and I took the entire fam to Bowen’s Island Restaurant. I obviously love this place and enjoy taking newbies there.

Cavemen love oysters. It’s a hole in the wall place that you can google my blog and find about ten posts for.
I scored this Robert Barber sticker since he’s running for Comptroller General and all, whatever that title means.
I love this picture because it sums up this place so well.
