The mess that is my room
I know I am the most insane list maker ever. I have them for everything. But travelers seem to be really proud of their packing lists, especially for RTW journeys. I am going to the other side of the world and back (so not really round, I suppose) and will be gone for a month. This doesn’t seem like that long, but my longest trip has been 2 weeks. So many things happen in a month! Anyways, I started my packing list, which is especially tricky for the following reasons:
- I am going to Thailand on a mission trip where I can’t wear tank tops or shorts.
- I am then going to Croatia where I will be laying around in a swimsuit all day.
- I am packing completely separate things for these trips that happen within days of each other.
So I have decided to pack an extra bag and my big bag with items unnecessary for my cruise will be sent back to the States with my mother while I carry around my belongings in a backpack or duffel bag.
My new wordlock! It says TRIP PACK SOON. There’s a message for me.
Here’s the list thus far, separated and starred for items needed for only one part of the trip.

Also, and this is very important, I have no way of knowing how often I will update my blog whilst I am gone. I am hoping my Facebook fan page will be easier to access, but I know for sure I will be updating the Door Foundation, the organization I am working with, blog and our church website and Flickr account daily. Assuming we have internet. See you loves in a month!
