Packing for my upcoming trip to Europe has been a bit of a struggle. I usually travel in extreme seasons, either in the summertime when I know I will be living in my swimsuit, or in winter when I need heavy coats and scarves. But this trip will be from early September to mid October and cover both coastal Porto and mountainous Munich. I’m packing in my Osprey Sirrus 36 L backpack and using my mom’s Kelty day pack.

Wow, I was so surprised when I heard what bag you were taking! Is that all carryon? I’m wavering between a carryon sized bag or a slightly bigger one for my own travels …
Caroline says
Yep, all carry on!

I’d really like to see how this all fits into your bag. One of the major things that’s going to take up space in my bags is a travel hair dryer and straightener. I have frizzy, unruly hair.
