I must admit that my sixth anniversary of Caroline in the City completely passed me by. I didn’t realize until after I came home from a week in Louisiana. It seems like things just keep getting better for the blogs and my writing career and I hope this momentum continues.
Highlights of my year on Caroline in the City include running my first (and second!) half marathon, going back to Australia, volunteering with elephants, attending my friend’s wedding in Thailand, flying in a tiny airplane over Atlanta, celebrating Deepavali with the Prime Minister of Malaysia and living like a beach bum in Puerto Rico. I was even named by Southern Living as one of 30 Bloggers to Watch for 2015!
Who I worked with: Northern Territory Tourism, Tune Hotels, Hostelworld, Urban Adventures, AsiaRooms, On Location Tours, Visit Lexington, Tourism Malaysia, Visit Savannah, Louisiana Department of Tourism and many more!
Who I worked for: I’m still working every month for Her Packing List, especially after our newly designed site! I also worked on projects for Trivago, Shermans Travel, AFAR.com, US Airways Magazine, Mastercard, Matador Network and National Geographic Traveler. I also continued working my seasonal job in Atlanta, New York and San Francisco.

What’s Next
In year seven, I hope to expand my writing career even further, especially as this blog has become a secondary portfolio for me. I’m recovering from a surgery on my foot, so I’m slowly working my way back into my previous state. I’m going to begin with swimming before jumping back into running.
I hope to use this blog to be a resource for other people facing graduation and an uncertain future. Be sure to let me know what you’d like to see from the site! And of course, thanks again for reading.

If I am not mistaken, you also visited the state of Tennessee last year (for pleasure, rather than business I’m sure). :)

Congratulations, you are an inspiration for me. I’ve been blogging for many years, but not consistently. It has always been hard to build a following, but now I think I have a better direction on what I want my blog to be about. Let’s see what happens for my 6 year anniversary. Crossing my Fingers
