I’ve come to look forward to these monthly posts about what I’m into beyond travel because there’s so much more to my life than where I go, despite the fact that it’s something I love. It’s funny how many people respond with their obsessions or agree with mine! As with last month, I’m sharing the things I’m obsessed with at the moment. Thanks for following along! Be sure to share what you’re loving this month below!

Reading
For the first time ever, I finished my GoodReads challenge for the year! I finished it off by finally completing A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, Here’s Negan, and March: Book One. Now I’ve moved onto The Good Girl and Troublemaker. To see what else I’m reading, check out my Goodreads Profile here (which is also my author page!).
Listening
I love the show Good Behavior, so when I found the soundtracks on Spotify, I was super excited. I’ve also been getting into some new podcasts. Young Charlie filled the true crime void, especially since Manson died. On the lighter end, I’ve been enjoying DTR, a branded podcast from Tinder about dating in the digital age. I had my doubts, as I do about the dating app, but it’s actually a fascinating show that covers the stories of all ranges of people and scenarios.
Watching
While The Walking Dead is on a break until February, I’ve been getting into Fear the Walking Dead, the spinoff that takes place before the original series in California and Mexico. I watched the first season, but then quit, and now I’m invested. I’ve also been watching my favorite guilty pleasure, MTV’s The Challenge. I could totally compete, right?!
Loving
This was a good month for new products, especially thanks to Christmas. I got a Matt and Nat vegan purse that I’d been eyeing for a while as well as a few records, including the four-disc record anniversary set of The Postal Service. I also got to test out a few beauty products, including face wash and lotions from Dove’s Derma Series line.
It’s perfect for people with sensitive skin and eczema like mine. The face wash is smoothing and I like better than Cetaphil, my longtime favorite. It will be released in stores soon!
Traveling
This has been a blessedly slow travel month. I had a great trip to DeLand, Florida in early December. I ended up canceling my trip to Asheville because of family circumstances, but will reschedule at some point. I can’t yet talk about an upcoming partnership, but I can tell you that I’ll be spending a lot of time in Florida this year, starting this month.
Working
This is usually my slowest time of year, but I’m so glad to have some work. I’m working on some new pieces for Owners and Explore Georgia as well as my first piece for a new client. I’m working on my second year of visitors guides for another client. See what else I’m working on via my Contently profile.
