I’ve come to look forward to these monthly posts about what I’m into beyond travel because there’s so much more to my life than where I go, despite the fact that it’s something I love. It’s funny how many people respond with their obsessions or agree with mine! As with last month, I’m sharing the things I’m obsessed with at the moment. Thanks for following along! Be sure to share what you’re loving this month below! This post contains affiliate links.

Reading
As the end of the year nears, I realize how far I am from my goal of reading 40 books this year. But, to be honest, I wrote a book this year, so I think I get a pass. I’m still working my way through On Writing and Quiet, both of which I hope to at least finish this year. I’m fascinated by the process of an author as prolific as Stephen King. To see what else I’m reading, check out my Goodreads Profile here (which is also my author page!).
Listening
My current favorite pastime is coming home on Sundays and listening to my Spotify “Made for You” playlist. It’s always eerily accurate in a way that makes me think someone is bugging my phone and room. I am also deep into some podcasts. I just finished the second season of Up and Vanished, started the second season of Uncover, and started Standoff and The Fall Line (part of MFM’s podcast network!).
I’m also loving the band Hope for Agoldensummer from Athens, featured on the podcast Happy Face and the soundtrack for the new Netflix movie Dumplin (filmed in Georgia), created by my girl Dolly Parton and other faves like Sia and Elle King.
Watching
I am fully entrenched in fan theories after the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead featuring my favorite storyline, The Whisperers. Since so much of what I watch is dark, I like to have a light and funny show as my backup. Now that I finished all the episodes of Happy Endings, I’ve moved onto Cougartown, which I watched sporadically when it was on but picked back up after reading Busy Phillips’ book. I’m also excited about the return of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!
Loving
My friend Christina took me to see Infinity Mirrors at the High Museum here in Atlanta a few weeks back and it was totally worth the hype. I didn’t know much about it before hearing about the lines for tickets but knew I had to see for myself.
The spaces are trippy but the exhibit itself has lots beyond the mirrors. I also got acupuncture for the first time this month, which I’m definitely interested in trying again. AND I SAW MY FAVORITE MURDER LIVE! The Murderino community here in Atlanta is strong.
Working
I’m starting to wrap up end-of-year work for continuing clients like Explore Georgia and Discover Atlanta. Some of the work I wrote at the beginning of the year is finally getting published. I had work appear this month with Hilton, Fodor’s, and Eagle Creek. I’m also working on a few paid influencer projects.
I held my first book event recently at a bookstore in the Atlanta area that went well. My friends and family came and I talked about what went into the process. I have a few more in-store events in the coming months, so so if you’d like me to come to your local store, send me an email and stay tuned to my professional website, CarolineEubanks.com.
Speaking of my book, if you got a copy, please consider reviewing it on Amazon or Goodreads. See what else I’m working on via my Contently profile (and hire me!).
Traveling
I spent a fun Halloween in Chattanooga dressed as the crew from Stranger Things and apart from an ill-fated trip to the Knoxville area, I’ve stayed close to home lately. This week I’m headed back to Orlando for my final Universal trip of the year. I’m bringing my sister and almost sister for five days of parks hopping and geekiness. Next up is a New Years adventure in New Orleans. Then it’s onward to a crazy January!

Yayyy can’t wait to see you in New Orleans!!
