Where to Eat in Miami
You can’t go to Miami without getting dozens of restaurant recommendations from visitors and locals. There are both casual and fine dining options to choose from. If you will be visiting during a busy weekend or are traveling with a big group, consider making a reservation on OpenTable.
For breakfast
News Cafe was a favorite spot of the late Gianni Versace for its all-day breakfast and patio dining. It’s open 24 hours on South Beach so you can always get eggs benedict. Enjoy healthy acai bowls, smoothies, and matcha at the Instagrammable Dreamer Acai. Las Olas Cafe is known for its all-day breakfast and Cuban sandwiches. Grab some pasteles for your crew to enjoy while getting ready at the hotel.
For lunch
Food halls are great for bachelorette groups because everyone can get something different. Luckily there are multiple in Miami! The new TimeOut Market has stalls with cocktails, sushi, burgers, pizza, and gorgeous desserts. Similarly, St. Roch Market (related to the one in New Orleans) has a cocktail bar, vegan cafe, Israeli food, and coffee. Ceviche is a light lunch before a big dinner and My Ceviche is the best place to enjoy it with multiple locations around town.
For dinner
Located in the courtyard of The Confidante Hotel, Bird & Bone is known for its Nashville hot chicken and Key West shrimp tacos. La Mar is inside the Mandarin Oriental and has a stunning Asian-Peruvian fusion menu. For funky tacos like grasshoppers, visit Taquiza. There are also options like pork, chicken, and corn along with sides.
For brunch
Yardbird Southern Table & Bar serves Southern favorites like chicken and biscuits. Portions are large and cocktails come in Mason jars. The Local House has local fresh ingredients in dishes like avocado toast, huevos rancheros, and lox and bagels. It’s not the only drag brunch in Miami, but Palace is certainly the best. They have unlimited mimosas, tacos, burgers, and pizzas.

What to Do in Miami
Don’t plan too much during your time in Miami because most of us are there to relax. But pick one or two things to do on Saturday morning as a group.

For nature-loving bachelorettes
Get outside to explore Miami and its surrounding neighborhoods. Miami Beach Botanical Garden is free to visit and a short walk from Lincoln Road Mall. It features over two acres of plants native to South Florida as well as those from around the world. Sculptures and artwork are spread throughout the grounds. Where to Drink in Miami
Let’s be honest: a lot of people come to Miami just to party. The all-night party spots and mega clubs make it a popular destination. But there is more than one type of way to imbibe in Miami. Just remember to drink responsibly. No one wants to be that amateur tourist.
For creative cocktails
The Broken Shaker at The Freehand is rated one of the country’s best cocktail spots. Imbibe one of their signature creations in the backyard vibe. Grab a table early as it becomes crowded quickly. Driftway has poolside drinks and cocktails under the watchful eye of the iguana mural. Sip on a frozen margarita or local beer. Mama Tried is located in downtown Miami and is great for both happy hour and a late night out.
For day drinking
Concrete Beach Brewery in Wynwood has outdoor seating and games. Their beers have a tropical flair like the Tropic of Passion passionfruit wheat ale. Gramps is another legendary Wynwood spot with live music and daily happy hour. You also don’t have to stay up late to experience the nightlife. The day club at Hyde Beach is a local favorite for bottle service.
For dancing and late night fun
The nightlife in Miami is the stuff of legends. The Miami Club Crawl and Bachelorette Party South Beach Miami Nightclub Package are great ways to get entry into the hottest spots like Nikki Beach for your crew. Basement Miami is part club, part bowling alley, and oddly enough, part ice skating rink.
They don’t open until 11 pm and are located inside The Edition. Ball & Chain in Little Havana is the best place for salsa dancing. Mac’s Club Deuce was a favorite of the late Anthony Bourdain, open until 5 am and with all-day happy hour.

Accommodations are the most expensive part of planning a bachelorette party in Miami. But thankfully there are some stylish hotel options that are also affordable. Start out by picking a neighborhood where you’d like to stay that is relevant to the places you’ll be going. Most people will want to be in Miami Beach.

Booking.comAdditional Advice
Plan for an early night on Friday since everyone will likely be traveling. This is the perfect time to enjoy games and chill drinks. I found this wedding-style Cards Against Humanity (Cads Against Matrimony) that was a hit with the group. I printed it off at home and cut up the cards myself for free. At other bachelorette parties, we’ve done the game where you guess which pair of panties represents which guest and the bride keeps them all.
You can also create your own photobooth and use the Podo as your camera with help from Pinterest. Keep the party going with this awesome playlist from PopSugar. Pick up some custom temporary tattoos to keep your group together as well as some phallic paraphernalia online. Make a Snapchat filter to document your trip.
Take Lyft everywhere and don’t risk DUIs. Rent something fabulous from Rent the Runway if you want to feel extra hot since most people dress up in Miami. I would also bring a pair of extra shoes in case your feet hurt. Tieks are my personal favorite.
